What is Google's Answer Highlighting?

Answer Highlighting is where Google looks at what the searcher has entered into the search box, if this is essentially a question Google will look for web pages within its index that answer the query raised and will then display those pages in the search results with the relevant part of the page shown under the page title, the answer to the searcher's query being shown as highlighted.
